Get stronger and build more effortless mobility with regular yoga. We will move, breathe and sweat leaving you stronger and more resilient.
In this series we will explore the archetypal energies associated with each of the seven chakras- working our way up from the root to the crown and exploring how the shadows dance with the light.
Physical strength carries into all other areas of our life- it makes us more mentally and emotionally fit to meet life’s challenges. When we get strong we are a more fit vessel to digest and release all of the challenges and traumas of life. This class will build your strength in a gradual and enjoyable way. We will flow to music much of the time but with the aim of the focus being on the inner music of the breath.
This class is open to all levels but is better suited for folks who have been to a few yoga classes before and know how to pace themselves and rest when necessary.

Suzanne aims to make yoga accessible and enjoyable, while helping students build focus and strength. She encourages her students to modify the practice to suit their own needs; following the breath and learning to allow the heart to lead the practice.
She has been teaching since 2002 and practicing yoga since she was 14. She trained with Alice Joanou, a Vinyasa teacher in the TKV Desikachar lineage, Leslie Kaminoff of The Breathing Project in New York, Karin Gurtner of Slings in Motion/Art of Motion, Christopher Wallis (Sanskrit/Tantric scholar) and Christopher Tompkins (Tantric scholar) among many others.
