Jenni has been a dancer and singer since she was 5 years old. She transitioned into the world of yoga in her early twenties as a young mom who found yoga to be therapeutically beneficial, both physically, mentally and emotionally. Her practice intensified when she decided to become a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and this unique form of therapy highly influences her teaching style. Jenni believes in using yoga as a resource for personal growth and finds yoga to be helpful in anxiety and stress reduction in a world that is often chaotic and far outside of our control. She sees yoga as a pathway to beauty, as a tool that reminds us to look for and be aware of what inspires and grounds us. Yoga engenders self-compassion and acceptance, and is a means for cultivating inner peace and stillness - these are the ideas that permeate into her teaching. Jenni's classes include traditional hatha poses which are often woven together into sequences that warm the body and calm the mind through vinyasa (put simply, aligning breathing with movement). Jenni is a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist and is also working towards a Master's in Psychological Counseling.
