“Its a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in a broken world”

the late Saint Mary Oliver

It truly feels a bit like a miracle sometimes that the world even keeps spinning. That we haven’t self-destructed entirely yet; that we can still come together to behold what is beautiful.

Holidays can be challenging for so many reasons- they can be fraught with family triggering patterns, or bittersweet with lack of intimacy. They can challenge us with closeness or bitterly cut with a sense of isolation.

Regardless- lets come together and practice.

This class will be extra long- it will give us time to drop in deeply together. To feel into the richness of our blood- the stability of our bones. After all- true heart bolstering gratitude has very little to do with trite affirmations or words that don’t touch our marrow.

True gratitude seems to mysteriously bubble up under the surface often in worldless company of others. Often in the heated glow post a back bend- or alighting toes back to the mat from headstand.

May we recognize the depth of the worlds love for us.
