Yoga is not meant to be another self improvement quest. Instead, find more freedom when you flip your perspective. Let go of your aggression around effort. Remember that you do not need to make yourself stronger, more educated, more independent, or more self-realized to have a worthy yoga practice, or be a worthy person.
This class offers the perfect setting to balance the ultimate pairs of opposites: being and becoming.
Yoga is the practice of paying attention. The practice gives us a container to see where and when we get distracted. It helps us look at our patterns to unravel the old and make space for the new. It helps us ease up on the striving willfulness that often denies us presence and it gives us the opportunity to slow down and reconnect to what matters most.
