Shorter days and darker nights are calling us to go inward. The New Year beckons us to fix our gaze on all the ways of becoming, growing, and getting better. Yoga asks us to balance this process of becoming with also enjoying where we are currently at. This class offers the perfect setting to balance the ultimate pairs of opposites: being and becoming.
Yoga is the practice of paying attention. The practice gives us a container to see where and when we get distracted. It helps us look at our patterns to unravel the old and make space for the new. It helps us ease up on the striving willfulness that often denies us presence and it gives us the opportunity to slow down and reconnect to what matters most.
