Breath, Movement, and Play with Laura Muñoz

A two-hour workshop for adults who want to connect with the vibrancy of their body and their sense of play. This practice is an ongoing investigation on how to stay true to our inner landscape while responding to the environment through movement. We will cultivate clear perception through the senses to respond effectively to inner and outer stimuli.

Starting with the breath, we will then move on to basic actions (lying down, sitting, getting up, squatting, kneeling, crawling, walking, jumping). Connecting with our own way of moving allows for greater access to creativity, health, and wellbeing.

Once grounded in our own body and movement, we engage with partner(s) to practice availability, responsiveness and spatial awareness through play in the space. Please, dress comfortably. Bring a water bottle and your desire to play like a kid! All bodies and level of experience welcome.
