Stress Management Series

“It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it.” - unknown

We live in stressful times- times that require we have a skillset for managing the challenges of life artfully. Yoga’s popularity is due to the positive affects that it has on the body, mind, and emotions; the radical ways it can shift one’s sense of self and in doing so, increase well-being.

According to Psychology Today- an estimated 80 to 90 percent of visits to the doctor are stress-related but only less than 3% of doctors talk to their patients about how to reduce stress.

Join Suzanne Dunning for this two-part series to teach you yoga, breathing and meditation techniques to help manage stress. In a national survey, over 85% of people who did yoga reported that it helped them relieve stress. Practicing yoga can help us gain a sense of calm and perspective- It can remind us of a sense of connection to other people and to the eco-system of the earth around us that helps us feel a sense of our resilience and find more ease and joy.
