Summer calls for deepening- deepening requires slowness. Slowness can cool us down and center us as well as help us build functional and well-aligned strength. Moving slowly requires that we tap into deep stability and it also retrains us to move from center.
We will meet two days a week- Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 til 8:00
Following practice there will be a 15 minute meditation from 8:00-8:15 which you are welcome to stay for or not.
Each morning session will be focused on rhythmic movements to increase the heart-rate- stimulating movement and cleansing of the blood, lymph and tissues as well as build core, shoulder, and leg strength. The poses will be accessible for most levels (or modifiable) and will take into account the stiffness that's often present when practicing in the morning.

About B:
B is drawn to yoga for its ability to be therapeutic. As a lifelong athlete and adrenaline junkie, she loves to go fast; but as someone who has suffered numerous injuries, she also understands that moving fast ALL the time is not sustainable. Enter yoga. Yoga taught her how to slow down, create balance, and learn how to move again. From a background in athletics, physical therapy, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, B hopes to help students learn how to navigate gravity in a meaningful way to optimize their function. She is inspired by some of the greats such as Tiffany Cruikshank, Annie Carpenter, and Bree Dillon, who teach a fusion of traditional wisdom with modern biomechanical intelligence.
As a teacher, her goal is to help students build a practice that creates a sense of freedom from moving intelligently, fluidly, and dynamically. For more- see her website.
